We were working on a new concept to prevent food ending up in the dumpster. Unfortunately this happens a lot all around the globe (even with food, which is in perfectly good condition). We especially wanted to work with the retailers, the grocery stores. The whole concept of course needs to be a win-win situation for both, the stores and the costumers. So for the stores it would be a good marketing to concentrate more on not throwing away so much food and even giving the costumers a bigger choice on what they can purchase. The costumer on the other hand is able to choose products from the regular shelfs or products from the e. g. "bónus cares." shelfs or ideally combine both. The whole concept could be extended by having some signs outside the store which show that the store uses our concept. Also we were thinking of having an app to show costumers what is in the shelfs at the moment and in which store they could find certain products. We hope to create some kind of an awareness about this whole issue and hope to realise this concept in some way in the future.
